TREC and HAR Activation

This video walks you through the three steps required to activate your license and become fully operational at Intero.

You’ll go from “just joined” to fully compliant by understanding exactly what happens next—and what you need to do (and not do).

Step 1: Brokerage Documents

Your onboarding paperwork is already completed. Once signed by the broker, you’ll receive a DocuSign email with:

  • Independent Contractor Agreement (ICA)

  • Policies & Procedures Manual

  • W-9

  • HAR-related forms

  • IABS (required for your communications)

No action needed here—just review and keep for your records.

Step 2: TREC License Transfer

  • You’ll receive an email invitation from TREC

  • Accept it (think of it like a friend request)

  • Once accepted, your sponsorship is complete

This step is simple—but must be done immediately to avoid delays.

Step 3: HAR Activation (Important)

Your process depends on your situation:

If you are transferring from another brokerage:

  • We handle the transfer for you

  • You only need to pay the $20 HAR transfer fee

If you are a new agent:

  • Visit HAR in person

  • Bring:

    • MLS Subscriber License & Access Agreement

    • HAR Realtor Membership Application

  • Complete and sign documents on-site

📍 HAR Central is located near our office (Edloe & 59)

Important

Do not guess or delay any step. Small mistakes here can slow you down.

If anything is unclear, reach out to your onboarding coordinator.
We’ll help you get this done clean and fast.
